Description

{1} Within Allen's Yard, three trial trenches were excavated. Due to the continuing use of the site and various other constraints the location of the trenches was not ideal and no direct evidence of the important Roman features known to lay in this area were revealed. The western side of the yard had been heavily truncated in places. Further investigation was recommended
