Description

{1} Geophysical survey confirmed the presence of a large rectangular enclosure, as seen on aerial photographs, but has additionally detected considerable internal and adjacent detail. Buried features clearly continue beyond the western limits of the survey area. [Data from NRHE: AML Survey Database Reference No.: 58. Survey type: Magnetometer: recorded grid. Survey of a cropmark site as part of the Raunds Area Project has significantly clarified and extended the definition of sub-surface features, revealing details of complex enclosure systems with internal sub-divisions and other features.]
