Description

An initial stage of archaeological evaluation has been carried out in the area of a proposed housing development on the east side of Daventry situated to the south and south-east of Borough Hill and adjacent to the scheduled ancient monument of Burnt Walls. The study comprises a desk-based assessment of the documented evidence for the development of the landscape (RN:5861028) coupled with a walkover survey to identify surviving landscape features (RN:5861029).
