Description

{1} An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the excavation of drainage trenches. These uncovered grave earth of unknown date. The foundations of a limestone wall were found 0.45m from the S wall of the church. A probable medieval layer was found to the N of the church. To the NE two pits or graves were seen cutting the natural subsoil. Site code: NSP99.
