Description

A field walking survey was recently carried out by a Professor Rose. The fields covered were the ones immediately north and south of the grid ref. The results of both surveys were negative. There was also a walk over survey carried out in the surrounding fields. Apart from some limestone blcks in one field and a modern water pipeline there were no surface archaeological finds or features to be seen.
