Description
{1} Style Conferences Ltd had been granted planning permission for the extension of Staverton Park Hotel, and the construction of a training centre and golf complex (Planning Application ref: DA97/1117). The permission included a condition for an archaeological watching brief which was commissioned of and carried out by John Samuels Archaeological Consultants. No finds or features of archaeological interest were noted. The site appeared to have been heavily landscaped in recent times, probably relating to its use as a golf course.
