Description

{1} Area taken over by the Air Ministry and cleared for the construction of storage buildings, during which widespread evidence of Roman occupation was uncovered. Excavation was undertaken following on from the site being scraped of topsoil. [Data from NRHE record: Record updated using information given perscomm N.
