Description
{1} The construction of the London Road, Raunds to Denford parish boundary section of the A605 road afforded the opportunity to examine a transect through Boulder Clay away from the Nene Valley. Limited excavation ahead of road building concentrated upon the Raunds-Ringstead parish boundary and a number of furlong boundaries. Nine trenches were cut in all.
