Description
{1} Excavation carried out by the Middle Nene Archaeological Group and students from the Prince William School, Oundle under the direction of John Hadman and Stephen Upex. During the 1973 season, work focused on one of the heavy magnetic anomalies identified by geophysical survey, which proved to be a large pit and an adjacent area, which proved to have been a small bath house. In the following seasons, work expanded these two areas to reveal two other large pits, the full extent of the aisled building and a series of yards. [The area of excavation is only roughly marked since there are no control points to accurately digitise it] [Data from NRHE: Information from excavator.
