Description

{1} No archaeological features observed during watching brief; small quantity of unstratified medieval/post-medieval pottery. Unverified reports of several coins being found on site. {2} Saxon and medieval pottery was found during housing development in Queens Street, 250m south-east of St Mary's Church. A limestone-lined pond in the south-east corner of the site remains undated.
