Description

One of a number of sites identified during housing development in the Hunsbury area. The sites were found by looking at road scrapings, or in foundation trenches, but the amount of information from each site is very limited. Most of the survey work was carried out by the writer working on a voluntary basis, and with only limited time available it is very likely that other sites existed which were not observed.
