Description

{1} Trial excavation of a circular mound prior to its proposed destruction in 1973. The results confirmed local knowledge, that it had been constructed around 1900. [Mr Hall suggests that copies of the site archives accompanied the finds from most of his investigations when they were passed into the custody of the respective county museums in 1988. The originals are still in his keeping. (Mr D Hall. E-mail 13. 9. 04.). Inf from NRHE]
