Description
{1} Excavations were carried out on the south side of Gregory Street, Northampton between December 1978 and July 1979. The site was L -shaped with a northern frontage onto the street of c 26 m and an east frontage also onto the street of c 28 m. Beneath the remains of a sequence of medieva/post-medieval buildings were late Saxon buildings and earlier burials.
