Description
{1} A contractors pipe trench along the north side of Lady's Lane uncovered a wall running parallel to the street with probably three walls at approximately right angles- interpreted as possibly the precinct walls of Whitefriars. [{2} Note in NDC SMR file suggests that the published grid reference was incorrect and the walls actually lay east of Kerr Street at SP 7563 6082].
