Description

{1} Trial trench excavation located walls and pits of 12th and 13th century date. {3} Note referring to north-south walls, possible cobbled areas and black soil found in April 1973 on north side of road. Second card card refers to 'Billing Priory' trenching in 1971- three trenches, but no details of features. Third card refers to medieval pottery found in 1970 by DCM. Fourth card refers to 1973 walls.
