Description

{1} In July 1972 a Roman farm of 1st to 4th century date was excavated at Overstone, Northampton. A series of gullies and timber buildings was succeeded by stone buildings or, at least, buildings with stone foundations. An integral part of the complex in all (?) phases was a circular building twice reconstructed.
