Description
A complex of Iron Age and Roman ditches was revealed by road scraping at the junction of Viking Way and Brandenburg Road. Subsequently trenches were cut on both sides of the junction, using a JCB excavator with a ditching bucket. The main feature was an Iron Age D-shaped enclosure.
