Description

{1} Site excavated opposite the junction of Neale Avenue and Mitchell Street prior to development (30 Mitchell Street). The first excavations were carried out in the foundation trenches of the bungalow in the first weekend of March 1966. The second excavation was started in the summer of 1966 with a twenty-five foot square excavated to the east of the bungalow. Mostly pits and traces of collapsed masonry found, as well as many finds. Completed in the Autumn of 1966
