Summary

(?H.E. Wilmott & Co. Ltd.) A single storey shoe factory that was built circa 1910, consists of three north-lit ranges gabled parallel to the street. They are roofed with corrugated asbestos sheeting, probably replacing an earlier slate covering. The south front to Portland Road is rendered. There are round arch doorways to the centre and at the east end, the latter possibly converted from a window. There is a stack on the north west corner of the works.

{1} Three north-lit ranges, gabled parallel to the street. Roofed with asbestos sheeting which probably replaces an earlier roof covering. Depicted as a 'Boot and Shoe factory' on the 1923 and 1937 Ordnance Survey maps.
