Full Description

{1} Royal Variety Theatre, Higham Road. Built in 1913 on the Sale Yard of Mr A Franklin. The theatre had a search light on top of the building shining over the district for publicity purposes. The Royal Theatre was shown on the map of 1926. The structure is still in existence, but part of the back may be missing. The building is now utilised by a number of small shops and businesses.
