Full Description
{1} Bone spindle whorl. Grooved decoration on both faces & around circumference (Bir 1960A213). Glass bead. Squat globular bead of opaque white glass. 3 grooves cut around circumference, leaving 2 raised bands; into each band are set 6 opaque red blobs (Bir1960A214). Copper alloy fibula. Flat disc brooch type with plain edge & enamelled decoration (central disc & 2 surrounding circles; only the outer circle preserves traces of colour - in this case red). Very like Hattatt 1987, 171 no. 1027 (Bir 1960A215).
