Full Description

{1} The Quakers originally met in a cottage until a meeting house was provided in Thorpe Street in 1732. The last meeting of the Quakers in Raunds was in 1834 - in 1840 the building was let to the Quaker John Sanders for use as curriers and leather merchants workshop. In 1873 the meeting house was sold and it was demolished in 1880 when 4 cottages were built on the site. The burial ground is still in existence.
