National School
Schooling began in Raunds in 1767 when pupils met in the National School built in 1859 with masters residence, enlarged in 1882. The National School later became the Church of England School and took children from neighbouring villages as well as the town of Raunds. The school was located between Manor Street and High Street and has now been demolished and the area in use for modern housing. (1)
