Full Description

{1} Freemason's Lodge. Freemason's established in the town and originally held meetings at the White Hart Hotel. A 'Masonic Lodge' is shown on the Ordnance Survey map of 1900 and a new structure known as 'Chicheley Lodge' was re-built on the site in 1902. Meetings were held at Chicheley Lodge Rooms on the Monday nearest the full moon from September to April.
