Full Description

{1} Railway Station: L.N.W.R. Now demolished.

{2} (SP 585 364) A rapid examination of air photography (2a) shows the railway station at the south end of Brackley (east of Castle Hill), visible as a roofed building in 1950-51 (with two platforms, sidings, a probable Goods Shed and pens accessed from a small turntable) but only as foundations in 1982.

{3} Known as Brackley West or Brackely Town.
