Full Description

{1} Lime Kilns. A number of lime kilns were shown on Ordnance Survey map of 1885 to the north and south of the town. The kilns to the north have since been covered by modern housing estates and it was not possible to locate the kiln to the south which was situated in close proximity to the corn mill.
