Full Description

{1} The Weetabix group established their factory for manufacturing breakfast cereal on the site of the old corn mill in 1932. Initially the factory utilised the some of the mill buildings and employed over 200 workers. The factory is still in existance today, but has been completely modernised - none of the original buildings would appear to be in existance although it was not possible to get access to view the site in detail.
N. B. The map location for this site is based on the earlier buildings as shown on a map of 1950.
