Full Description

{1} Burton Latimer Coffee House was erected in the High Street in 1898. The building was constructued of Woodville sandfaced bricks with Weldonstone dressings. The structure comprised entrance hall, refreshment room, members quarters, smoking room, reading room, two large rooms for billiards, bagatelle and other games, commercial bedroom, caretakers quarters and area for out door games. The building was not located during the field visit, but may be the 'Club' shown on the map of 1926. Now demolished.
