Full Description
{1} Early 20th century boot and shoe factory (with possible late 19th century origin) survives on Queen Street. The building is closed down, boarded up and advertised for re-development. It would appear likely that the structure survives in its original state.
Since the field visit in August 1998 the building has been demolished and the land is being utilised for modern housing. The office complex was converted to houses.
{2} Shoe factory shown with sign 'Desborough Shoe Co Ltd';
