{1} A medieval manor called Hillsborough is suggested on this site. [No physical evidence recovered to date.]
{2} J.R.Fox suggests that the third manor of Isham, which is mentioned in Domesday, was located here. SP886738
{3} Mentioned as close to bypass fieldwalking survey, but not part of it.
