Workhouse
A workhouse for the parish of Desborough was located in Paddock Lane in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It was sold in 1836 after the Union of Parishes for Poor Law arrangements. It was situated next to the demolished factory in Paddock Lane. The workhouse well still exists, but is covered over. (1)
