Full Description

{1} Desborough Volunteer Fire Brigade - with a steam fire engine. Fire Station set up on Station Road / Queen Street in 1908. The building was destroyed by fire in 1995 and a modern garage now occupies the site. The station temporarily moved to the corrugated tin building on Havelock Street (former chapel?) before moving to its current position on King Street in 1980.
