Full Description
{1} Baptist Chapel
Built 1848 with seating for 400. The original chapel appears to have been demolished as part of re-development of land between Gold Street and Harborough Road. One small rectangular stone building appears to survive but is unlikely to be this chapel - see Ann / look at books for early chapels. A new brick-built Baptist Church was erected in 1926 on Rushton Road.
