Full Description

{1} The original Congregational or Independent chapel built in 1855 was located on Paddock Lane; the Ordnance survey map of 1900 indicates an associated Sunday School for the chapel. In 1912 a new chapel was built on Union Street and the old building was used as an additional Sunday school. The original chapel and early Sunday school have now been demolished and replaced by modern housing, but the 1912 building survives and is being used by the United Reformed Church, Desborough.
