Built in 1891 for Baxter and Mould. An L-plan, three-storey boot and shoe factory is of pier and panel construction in red brick with blue brick sills, plinth and dentilled courses to the heads of the panels.

Full Description

{1} Small boot factory on opposite side of road to 'Havelock Works'. This is a red brick, plain, three storey building which has now been converted into flats. Film 10, photo 4 This may be Bryan and Son boot and shoe manufacturers, Nelson Street
One of the boot and shoe manufacturers on Havelock Street may have been Baxter and Mould B & S Manufacturers and / or Wright Bros Boot and Shoe Manufacturers listed in trade directory of 1894. (1)

{2} Built in 1891 for Baxter and Mould. An L-plan, three-storey boot and shoe factory is of pier and panel construction in red brick with blue brick sills, plinth and dentilled courses to the heads of the panels. Three bays to the Havelock St elevation and four and a half facing Nelson St with a canted corner between.
