Summary

A three storey boot and shoe factory built on the east side of Wellington Street. The factory is built of brick with a slate covered roof. Ordnance Survey maps and other evidence, suggest that it was built circa 1890.

There are a number of industrial buildings / factories on Wellington Street which may have been owned by Jessop and Jackson, Naylor, Wright and Co and / or Loake Bros.
