Full Description

Kettering Clothing Manufacturing Co-operative Society (Kaycee). Wellington Street.
Begun after the Co-operative movement shops wanted to start selling clothing in their stores and were refused by private enterprises.Begun in 1894 in a workshop in Wellington Street. Later had factories in Bridewell Lane, Dryden Street and Albert Street.
