Assembly Hall, New Street
1st Volunteer Batalion Northamptonshire Regiment had drill hall in the assembly hall in the town.
The building was later converted into a picture theatre, but has since been demolished. (1)
{2} Reference in Kelly's Directory 1903 but not in earlier / later editions. Assembly Hall New St was the Drill Hall for Cadet Corps, D Squadron N'ants Yeomanry & L Coy 1st Vol Bttn N'ants Regmt.
