Summary
This purpose built curriery stands on the south side of Newton Road close to its junction with Kimbolton Road. it was probably esthablishd in the early 1930s. An office block occupies the north-west corner and to the rear there are extensive north-lit ranges. The office block was originally single storey but has been raised to two storeys with a shallow monopitch roof. On the north front the original work incorporates a central entrance and flanking windows, all with moulded surrounds.

Full Description
Organic Ammonia Co Ltd, Newton Road
Processors of scrap leather on the site which is now occupied by Edward Woodley and Sons on Newton Road. The building has recently been taken over by Colin Cross Leather Merchants. Building has a very functional appearance and remains fairly intact, but there are a number of new windows etc. Film 1, photo 23. (1)
