{2} Situated on the west side of Crown Street between Regent Street and King Street, off Rockingham Road. The Co-operative Model Bakery was constructed in 1900. A red brick building with stone string course above the ground floor windows, it is of three-storeys and 8 bays along its length. Between each storey are elaborate cast iron tie-plates formed from the initials KICS (Kettering Industrial Co-Operative Society). The north end of the building is adjacent to the former KICS grocery warehouse, fronting on to Regent Street. The bakery is now used for other purposes.
