Summary
Kettering Hospital for Infectious Diseases was built in 1886-87, the earliest ward block and the administration block dating from that time. Further wards were added in 1896, 1908, 1914 and 1927. Now converted to private houses.

Full Description
{1} Kettering Hospitals for Infectious Diseases, Rockingham Road. Red brick structures erected in 1886 and 1896 respectively. A new block was added in 1909 providing a discharge and two observatory wards. Known by 1926 as 'Kettering Isolation Hospital'. Number of different structures on the site, have now been converted into private houses. Plaque on the side of one of the buildings 'This hospital was built by the Kettering Local Board AD 1886".Film 15, photo 8-10.
