Full Description
{1} Groom and Tattersalls. The foundry and mill shop were located at Station Yard for general founding working plus the manufacture of flour milling machinery etc. George Groom opened a foundry in Towcester in 1910, next to Towcester Station. In 1920 was linked with the London firm of Tattershall who were in the business of making milling machinery.
The foundry is north of the town, on the east side of the road from the A5 to Tiffield (SP 690 494)

Later, part of J. A. Perkins of Northampton
Main products are flour milling machinery, food machinery, crane jibs and general foundry work.
Now trading as Tattershall Foundries Ltd.
{2} The southern and eastern parts of the site had had very substantial deposits of foundry waste dumped on it to form a level yard.
