{1}Infant School, Saw Pit Lane
School built in 1869 for 180 children. The school was constructed of red brick and was built in two phases. There is a plague on the wall 'Towcester Church of England School erected 1869. Enlarged 1929 to accomodate the scholars from the National School. Erected 1849 in High Street' The building is now in use as Towcester Library. Film 2, photo 1-2.
