Full Description
{1} Co-operative Store, Bell Hill. A Rothwell Co-operative Industrial and Provident Society building dated 1929 fronts onto Bell Hill. The structure is still used by the Co-op today, but has had a new shop frontage inserted into the ground floor of the building. This structure stands adjacent to another building dated 1904 which was clearly in use a commercial or retailing building and may have been in Co-operative ownership. Part of the shop frontage for this structure has been retained. Film2, photo 3,4.
