Full Description
{1} The Recreation Ground was established in the 19th century by Rothwell Urban District Council and Rev C. H. Mauncell. It survives today in a reduced form, a housing estate having been constructed over half of it.
{4} Recreation ground new in 19th century. Money was provided by the Urban Council and Rev C. H. Mauncell.
