Full Description

Victoria Hall
Erected in 1889 and owned by the Kettering Public Hall Company Limited. Has a stage platform and could be adapted for balls and banquets. Between 1907 and 1920 it was a theatre and later became a cinema. It was acquired by the Odeon group in the 1930's and was re-modeled to interior and exterior by Mr Harry Weedon who designed many of the Odeon Cinemas in the thirties. The building has now been demolished and the Newlands Shopping Centre stands in its location. (1)
