Full Description

{1}Conservative Club, Montagu Street
Opened on 17th December 1888. A red brick structure erected to the designs of Mr S Perkins Pick - contains assembly room, billiard and smoke rooms, reading rooms, bar and stewards room - at the rear of the building is a bowling green, quoit ground and a skittle alley. The building is still in existence today and in the same usage. Film 11, photo 12. (1)
