Summary
This two-storey boot and shoe workshop, extending to the rear of 28 Vivian Road, was built in the late 19th century. It is a brick-built gabled building of two storeys. It may have been divided into three small, seperate workshops.

{1} Industrial buildings, Vivian Road / Newcomen Road
Small terraces or industrial buildings to rear of house on Vivian Road. Now used as houses. Film 11, photo 26.
{2} The function of this 2-storey workshop extending to the rear of 28 Vivian Road has not been identified. It was probably built in the mid 1890s. The fenestration of the north elevation, partly of segmental-headed windows with blue brick sills and cast-iron frames, suggests some form of industrial or warehousing use but the windows are widely spaced.
