Full Description

{1} Site of Wellingborough UDC sewage pumping station is now used by the electricity board.

{2} Two steam pumps each consisting of a tandem compound steam engine driving reciprocating pumps through reduction gearing, were installed at the pumping station about 1896. They ceased to work early in 1966, and the station has now been demolished.
