Full Description

{1} County Police Station, Midland Road. Building was constructed in 1867. Includes petty session room, retiring room for magistrates, waiting and other rooms, separate room for witnesses and five cells. To the west is the inspectors house, on the east side married quarters for the constable and over the cells are dormitories for single constables. The building has since been demolished and replaced by a modern construction police station.
